Working in partnership with a range of schools across West Yorkshire, the Yorkshire Rose Teaching Partnership delivers bespoke training packages to candidates on the PGCE & QTS routes, Primary & Secondary Teaching Apprenticeships, HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) career pathways as well as general Apprenticeship and training courses. This is an extension of our ‘grow our own’ policy by which we ensure that we identify and train teachers and other school staff whose values match ours and whose talents we are keen to employ.
We are a key branch of the Trust and align with its visions and values; committed to providing the highest standard of education for the young people in diverse and relatively disadvantaged urban communities across the region.
The consortium works with a range of local Higher Education institutions including, Leeds Beckett University, Leeds Trinity University and 15 local schools. We are a key strategic partner with the Calderdale and Kirklees Teaching School Hub, helping deliver 'Golden Thread' ECT & NPQ training for teachers and other staff in schools. We also work with Exceed SCITT, graded as outstanding, on the Primary Apprenticeship teaching route.
