The Yorkshire Rose Teaching Partnership aspires to invest in people and our community.

We have been facilitating the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) course since 2015, delivered by Leeds Trinity University. Leeds Trinity University has been providing HLTA courses for a number of years and is one of the most established and highly regarded providers in the region, as well as being part of the HLTA National Assessment Partnership. They are also a key partner in the HLTA North​ Consortium, which provides assessment and information for existing and aspiring HLTAs.

This bespoke training route means that applicants have to be employed within a school and have the support of their Headteacher when applying for the course. During 2023/24 our trainees worked in primary and secondary schools across Batley Multi Academy Trust.

The next cohort of trainees will begin the HLTA course in December 2024.
