Yorkshire Rose Teaching Partnership began recruiting in 2013 and have worked with around 300 trainees to date, with 64 of those going on to work in the Trust. The academic year 2023/24 marks our 10 year anniversary of training.

The Yorkshire Rose Teaching Partnership also facilitates career progression; some of our trainees were already working within our Trust family of schools and have been supported to make the next step within their educational journey. Across Batley Multi Academy Trust we now have PGCE trainees in roles of Head of Curriculum areas, Achievement Leaders and Subject Leaders. In 2023/23 there were 24 Early Career Teachers across our primary and secondary phases who are supported by our strategic partner, the Calderdale and Kirklees Teaching School Hub, and who also meet termly to discuss wellbeing support and collaborative opportunities.
