The Trust at the heart of the Batley community
Colleagues from Healey Primary School have laid tributes to Her Majesty The Queen at the gates of Buckingham Palace this weekend.
Queen Elizabeth II was Britain's longest serving monarch. She inspired many with her sense of duty and she led with such grace, dignity and respect for others. She defied all expectations of women of her generation. Her warm heart and big smile were qualities that will be remembered by all those who were fortunate to meet her.
Staff and students at Healey School recently celebrated the Platinum Jubilee with a wonderful afternoon tea for members of the community and they wanted to now pay their respects to The Queen. The children felt, in this time of sadness, it is important to remember all of the happy times, and times of celebration, and to thank The Queen for her unwavering service to our country.
